DESCRIPTION: Sushi Me Rollin’ is a sushi restaurant and bar located in southern California. The “S” logo mark illustrates the forward movement of rolling and features two abstract koi fish connecting in the center. It not only nods to yin and yang of Chinese culture (balance), but also to inyo of Japanese culture. The inyo is referred to as “the symbol of the rising sun”—representing energy that is constantly changing.

For brand collateral, I created a menu, drink coasters, food containers, stationery, and restaurant signage to highlight the brand’s bold and clean aesthetic. Utilizing the circle motif and simple line illustrations tie back to the style of the logo as well.
